The importance of education

I think this year more than ever I have a desire to learn. I know what I find interesting, what excites me intellectually. I have a new-found passion for education and a new longing to be a well-learned member of society. I hate when people don’t value education. While I am certainly guilty of senioritis, the mindset I have for furthering my knowledge sets me apart from the braindead idiots that surround me day in and day out. Education is more than a tool to occupy a stable career, education is insight into worlds that would otherwise go unexplored. I can’t wait to actually receive formal, substantial education alongside students, more importantly learners, who have the same ideas about it as I do.
