Disrespecting your parents

Although I don’t tend to get along with my parents, I have a bit of a pet peeve for people who just straight up are disrespectful when they talk to their parents. I have friends who tell their moms to fuck off when they ask them to clean their room. I dunno, I don’t talk to my parents like that, I don’t curse around them, let alone at them.

I don’t respect what my parents want of me, what they believe is right for me. Their reasoning behind what they allow or don’t allow me to do is absurd. They are illogical with their standards, and on these grounds, I disrespect their wishes. But that’s about it.
